Feels Like a Big Hug

I wanted to write this right after you did my root canal... but I was quite distracted! How can I thank you enough for your superb skill in taking care of my tooth? I had seen an on-call dentist and she would not touch it. Then I saw my regular dentist, and he wouldn't touch it ...
A Heartfelt Thank You!

Dear Dr. Barry and Staff,
Thank you for the wonderful care you gave me yesterday!
I have fears, I'm sure like others, and a root canal is not the most pleasant of things to have done
but Dr. Barry, you and Elisha took great care in making...
Thanks

Dear Dr. Barry,
I have always been taken great care of by my primary dentist, Dr. X. When he retired, Dr. Y. took over as my primary, and he too has been excellent, and always makes me feel at ease. But when I was told that root canal work might be in my future, ...

I was highly impressed with the office and will come back again (God forbid) if the rest of my teeth bite the dust. I am also recommending your office to all of my friends.

Elisha
Hi my name is Elisha; I am one of Dr Barry’s two assistants. I started with Dr Barry at the beginning of his practice. I have been a dental assistant for 20 years now; I started when I was 16 years old in Washington. That is where I received my schooling, then I moved to Oregon where I became EFDA certified.
I love what I do, and who I work with. We have a great team who care for one another as well as for our patients. I get excited when I see how involved Dr Barry and Dr. Mattscheck are in the future of dental care. Our office is up to date with the latest technology. They are very supportive of our continuing education, and we approach new techniques and products as a team.
On a personal note, I am married to a wonderful man. We have 2 girls, a golden retriever, and a cat. My favorite things to do are crafts and shopping.

Holly
My name is Holly, and I joined Advanced Endodontics shortly after graduating from Portland Community College's Dental Assisting Program where I was certified as an EFDA in 2009. Dr Barry's reputation and experience in the field initially attracted me to this practice, along with the progressive and cutting edge technology.
My interest in the field of Dentistry quickly grew as I developed a passion for Science and providing care to others at a young age. The specialty of Endodontics is a perfect fit for me as we all strive to treat our patient's with technical expertise and the finest quality care.
In my spare time I enjoy the company of my family and friends, photography, music and exploring Portland.

Lizzie
Hi, my name is Lizzie. I am so happy to be in this area and to be in this office. I have been very fortunate to join a team that I am completely confident in and has the same goals and beliefs as myself. I have been in medical/dental administration since 2006 and knew immediately that this was the career for me. It is so satisfying when I feel like I have actually helped and hopefully contributed to a great experience for someone.
On a personal note I am not a local but I am, always have been and always will be a Northwest girl. I grew up in Wenatchee, WA on a cherry orchard, so don’t even think about bringing cherries around me! I love to camp, be on the water, and am currently having a blast exploring Oregon. I am truly blessed to be able to live in a beautiful area with amazing recreation.
I’m also really excited to explore the music scene around here. As a kid we always went to the Gorge in George during the summers for outside concerts. One of my favorite things is to find a nice green spot in the grass and enjoy some tunes with good company.
See you at the office or maybe a local show!
